This is a rare superb Union Lieutenant officer frock coat in great shape, I purchased the tunic from an estate sale in my local area in upstate NY. It is believed that this belonged to a distant relative of the estate's owner who had this jacket since the Civil War. The jacket is in very good shape and only has minor moth holes and a tear on the front. Sadly over time, the red color of the shoulder tabs has faded but they are still there and are in relatively good shape.
